Tamilnadu Palaces are great monuments of South India. But today most of the ancient palaces were modified into commercial buildings. Some of them were replaced for urbanization. Even though there are few palaces stands an example for the wealth of ancient Tamilians.

Day 1: Arrival at Chennai
Upon arrival at Chennai Airport our representative will assist and transfer you to hotel. It follows the local sites seeing. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Vellore
After breakfast you will be driven to Vellore. Visit the fort and the temple at Vellore. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Bangalore
After breakfast you will be taken to Bangalore, the silicon city has wonderful parks. Visiting the local artistic sites. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Mysore
Visiting the grand Mysore palace. And making a little shopping. Stay overnight the hotel.
Day 5&6: Ooty
Ooty also known as Udhagamandalam is the "Queen of hill stations" and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Nilgiris means "Blue Mountains". It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. Used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. It is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. Fern Hill Palace is located at Ooty, around 1 km from Ooty Bus Stand. This former palace has been converted into a hotel. Visiting the local sites and having a nice rest at the hill station for two days.
Day 7: Coimbatore
Coimbatore also known as Kovai is the second largest city in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of Coimbatore District. Known as Manchester of southern India Visiting the local sites. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Madurai
After breakfast you will be driven to Madurai, the cultural city of Tamilnadu. Tirumala Nayak Mahal is located 1.5km north of Meenakshi temple, in Madurai. It is an Indo-Saracen Palace, built by Tirumala Nayak in 17th century. Visiting the ancient Meenakshi temple and the famous market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Karaikudi
Visiting Karaikudi, the richest town of Tamilnadu. Palace of Annamalai Chettiyar is a 110-year-old outstanding specimen of the Chettinad architecture. The oldest surviving building of this style, the Chettinad Palace was built by Dr Annamalai Chettiyar, founder of the Indian Bank and the Annamalai University in Chidambaram. After visiting the Palace journey to Tanjore and stay at Tanjore.
Day 10: Tanjore
After breakfast visiting the 1000 year’s old temple. Tanjore’s crowning glory is the Brihadeeswar temple built by Raja Raja Chola. This is listed as a World Heritage site and is worth a visit. A journey to Pondicherry, the spiritual township follows this visit. Stay overnight at Pondicherry.
Day 11 & 12: Pondicherry
Visiting the Ashram, temples, heritage streets, market, beach, Auroville etc. stay overnight at hotel and fly home from Chennai airport.
